Death of a minor in 2024, dismissal and new investigations

According to ANSA Cronaca, the judge in Enna has dismissed the murder complaint filed by the family of Larimar Annaloro, a fifteen-year-old from Piazza Armerina, found hanged two years ago in her home garden. The family has always rejected the suicide hypothesis.

The young woman, originally from the Varese area, had moved with her parents to Piazza Armerina, her father's hometown. On 5 November 2024, after an argument with some schoolmates, she asked her parents to take her home. Her parents accompanied her and went out on errands; upon their return they found her with a noose around her neck, tied in a way that appeared unusual to the family members.

Meanwhile, the Minor's Public Prosecutor's Office in Caltanissetta has opened a parallel investigation for incitement to suicide, revenge porn and bullying. The family continues to contest the results of the investigation in Enna and continues to pursue their request for justice.
