According to martinique.franceantilles.fr, the verdict was delivered on Thursday evening, 4 June 2026: Sabine B. was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment for attempted murder against three of her children and two of her neighbours.
The sentence includes a period of security lasting 7 years, as well as socio-judicial supervision for 5 years following her release. The court also prohibited her from possessing a firearm for 15 years and imposed a sentence of ineligibility for public office for 10 years. Her name has furthermore been entered on the Automated Judicial Register of Perpetrators of Sexual or Violent Offences (FIJAISV).
The public prosecutor had requested 24 years' imprisonment, nine years more than the sentence ultimately imposed by the court.
The facts date back to 29 November 2022, at around 6 o'clock in the morning. The trial took place over three days before this verdict was pronounced.
