Not all motorists accepted the closure. According to operations manager Espen Reite from the Police Log, a male driver attempted to force his way past. When this failed, the man became aggressive and used his car to push away the officer who was standing blocking the road.

A journalist from Drammens Tidende, who was present at the scene, also observed that the man began striking the roof of his own car and running after a police officer in an angry mood.

– He struck an officer with his car when he wanted to get past the cordon. Fortunately, no one was injured, Reite told dt.no.

The man was reported and had his driving licence temporarily seized.
