Police uncover nationwide human trafficking network – 14 charged
Over the past two months, police have dismantled an extensive human trafficking network operating in several Norwegian cities. 14 people have been charged or are suspected of involvement.

According to aftenposten.no, police have mapped out over the past two months a human trafficking network that is believed to have operated in Trondheim, Tromsø, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand and Hamar. 14 people have been charged or are suspected in the case.
The network is believed to have specialised in prostitution and procuring activities over an extended period.
"This is a network that operates in large parts of Norway, and they have been doing this over time," says police prosecutor Jeanette Svendsen in the Eastern Police District to NRK.
