Seventeen-year-old Łukasz G., suspected of committing a double murder in Kadłubie, at the moment of committing the crime possessed fully preserved capacity to understand the meaning of his actions. At the same time, the adolescent perpetrator was diagnosed with certain disturbances – this is what emerges from an opinion drawn up by expert specialists.
The case concerns a brutal crime which the 17-year-old is suspected of having recorded. Material from the recording became one of the key pieces of evidence in the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office.
The opinion of expert psychiatrists or psychologists has fundamental significance for the further course of criminal proceedings. It is on the basis of this opinion that the court will be able to assess the extent to which the suspect was aware of the consequences of his conduct and whether any disturbances might affect his criminal responsibility.
