Criminal investigators from Czarnków district apprehended a man and secured mephedrone and amphetamine from him. Nearly 19,000 zlotys in cash was also found on him.

At the end of May, officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the local district police command carried out an operation in the Czarnków municipality. Their target was one of the properties where, according to intelligence information, persons in possession of prohibited substances could be staying.
Upon entering, police officers found three people inside. On the desk they noticed plastic bags containing powder and clumped materials. One of the individuals admitted that the items belonged to him. The substances turned out to be mephedrone and amphetamine.
During the search, officers also found money – 18,500 zlotys. The amount was retained as potential proceeds from illegal drug trafficking.
In total, 342.9 grammes of the preparations were seized, including 195.42 grammes of mephedrone and 147.48 grammes of amphetamine. The 43-year-old was taken to the police station. Subsequently, the court imposed police supervision on him and a ban on leaving Poland.
