According to opolska.policja.gov.pl, officers from the Police Station in Wołczyn stopped a Renault vehicle for inspection during night-time duties. Prior information had indicated that the driver might be under the influence of narcotic substances.

Behind the wheel was a 37-year-old resident of Kluczborski County. A drug breath test detected the presence of amphetamine in his body. The man was transported to a medical facility, where blood was drawn for laboratory testing.

Officers seized the driver's licence on the spot. Following receipt of laboratory results, the gathered evidence will be forwarded to court. The 37-year-old faces criminal liability for driving under the influence of a narcotic substance.

This is another intervention by officers from the District Police Headquarters in Kluczborsk, who are consistently removing drivers who pose a threat to other road users from the roads.
