In the night of 8 to 9 June, a motor yacht caught fire in the port basin in central Szczecin. Two men were aboard the vessel and were evacuated. No one was injured.
Initially it appeared that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. However, preliminary findings by officers point to the fire being deliberately started. Police are conducting an investigation in the direction of attempted murder.
