Police have published footage of the arrest of one of the suspects accused of making false alarms across Poland. The video shows the arrested suspect and the equipment used by the group.
The services announced that the operation to investigate and arrest the group behind the false alarms is ongoing. In mid-May, the Ministry of Interior and Administration reported 12 emergency service interventions related to false reports of planted explosive devices or threats to life.
As part of the investigation by the District Prosecutor's Office Warsaw-Praga, two people have been remanded in custody. One of the suspects has been charged with participation in an organised criminal group responsible for making false alarms, whilst the other has been charged with leading the group.
