In south-east Poland, police have made a macabre discovery. Remains of unborn children have been found on one property. According to information provided by the source Lidovky.cz, a woman who was the owner of the site and simultaneously worked as a doctor allegedly removed foetuses from a medical facility during the coronavirus pandemic.

Officers have established that the purpose of removing the remains was to conduct so-called "scientific" experiments. Police have officially confirmed the discovery of at least 32 human foetuses, although some Polish media have speculated that the number of victims could be between 50 and 100.

Investigators are concerned that the case may be more extensive and not limited to a single property. Further clarification activities are ongoing aimed at determining the full scope of the crime and any additional locations where remains may have been stored.

The investigation is being conducted by Polish investigative authorities. No details have yet been provided regarding potential charges against the suspect or the date of interrogations.
