Officers acting undercover established false identities in these establishments, meaning they gained credibility in the criminal environment through contact with the Rysicz brothers. In simplified terms, one could say that the Polish state had its own brothels, states Janusz Schwertner in the programme "Kulisy Spraw", cited by Onet.pl.
The Subcarpathian affair concerns the activities of an organised criminal group which was involved in, among other things, human trafficking, armed extortion and the operation of escort agencies in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
