Investigators in Warsaw have opened proceedings into the actions of officers during a visit to the flat of the editor-in-chief of "Gazeta Polska" following false alarms.

On 15 May, officers appeared at a premises on Wiktorska Street in Warsaw, where the editor-in-chief of "Gazeta Polska" Tomasz Sakiewicz resides. The visit followed multiple false reports of explosive devices in the building.
The Regional Prosecutor's Office in the capital has now opened proceedings to investigate whether the law enforcement officials exceeded their authority during this operation. A spokesperson for the unit announced the opening of the investigation.
