Gdańsk Roads Authority Official Detained by CBA for Bribery
The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau detained an official from the Gdańsk Roads Authority who allegedly accepted at least 25,000 zlotys in bribes in exchange for approval of a property transfer without public tender. The court decided to remand the suspect in custody.

Gdańsk Roads Authority Official Detained by CBA for Bribery
Agents of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau detained an employee of the Gdańsk Roads Authority. The man is suspected of accepting financial benefit in the amount of at least 25 thousand zlotys in connection with a non-tender transfer of one of the properties within the city.
According to investigative findings, the official allegedly agreed to a non-tender transfer of the plot in exchange for money. The CBA carried out the detention, after which the court authorised the remand in custody of the suspect.
The case concerns corrupt activity in a self-government unit responsible for road infrastructure in Gdańsk. Details of the proceedings have not been disclosed due to the interests of the ongoing investigation.
