In south-eastern Poland, police have discovered the remains of unborn children. Officers suspect that during the COVID-19 pandemic, a doctor removed them from a medical facility and subsequently used them for research purposes. The woman was the owner of the plot of land on which the remains were found.

Investigators estimate the number of foetuses discovered at at least 32. However, some Polish media outlets cite significantly higher numbers, ranging from 50 to 100. Police fear that the case may involve more than one property.

The investigation is ongoing, and officers are checking whether similar discoveries may occur at other locations. Source: iDNES.cz
