Serious riots broke out on Thursday during the "Games" student festival organised by Silesian University of Technology. Dangerous incidents that occurred during the event forced organisers to suspend the planned concerts.
Police officers intervened at the venue. As a result of their actions, one person was detained – a 17-year-old.
At this moment, it is not yet certain whether Friday's events as part of the student festival will go ahead according to the original plan.
