During a joint operation in Szczecin, officers arrested a man and seized more than 2.8 kg of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and 75 rounds of ammunition.

A man suspected of drug trafficking has been arrested in Szczecin. The operation was conducted jointly by customs officials from the West Pomeranian Customs and Tax Office and officers from the narcotics and criminal divisions of the local police.
During the search, officers came across a courier package containing more than two and a half kilograms of plant material. Following further searches of a vehicle, two apartments and a storage facility used by the suspect, additional illegal substances were discovered.
In total, the following were seized: more than one kilogram of mushroom mycelium with hallucinogenic mushrooms grown on it, more than 70 grammes of dried material of the same mushrooms, and almost 7 grammes of cannabis indica. Additionally, officers found an electronic scale, a signal jamming device, seven smartphones, two laptop computers and 75 rounds of ammunition for a firearm. The man did not have a permit for the weapon or ammunition.
Based on the evidence gathered, the prosecution charged him with involvement in trafficking in a significant quantity of narcotics. The court approved a motion for his temporary arrest for three months.
The investigation is ongoing. Police officers and prosecutors will now thoroughly examine the seized substances, electronic devices and other materials to establish a full picture of the suspect's criminal activity.
