An investigation conducted by organised crime prosecutors based in Craiova, with the support of police specialists in combating organised crime, has led to the detention of two suspects. These individuals are suspected of distributing high-risk narcotics in Dolj County.
According to evidence gathered, during the current year, a 32-year-old man is suspected of having acquired and sold portions of cocaine. The sales were carried out with the assistance of an 18-year-old youth, who acted as an intermediary. A dose cost between 900 and 1,800 lei.
The quantities of drugs identified at the two individuals were seized and placed under confiscation.
On 11 June 2026, the prosecutors decided to deprive the two individuals of their liberty. Subsequently, the court was notified with a request for provisional detention for a period of 30 days.
