Life sentence for gang-related murder in Tolered on Hisingen
Four people have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a man in Tolered on Hisingen in Gothenburg, according to svt.se. The shooting took place on 9 September 2025, when the victim was struck by multiple shots on an open street.
One person is convicted of murder, whilst three others are convicted of aiding and abetting murder – all against their denials. The person convicted of murder is also sentenced to punishment for serious unlawful threats, after pointing a weapon at two children who were present at the crime scene.
According to the district court, the connection to the ongoing gang conflict between networks in northern and southern Biskopsgården has been established.
– The murder of the man was carefully planned. Furthermore, the crime was rooted in a conflict between criminal networks and was carried out with the use of firearms in a public place, which is a particularly aggravating circumstance, says judge Camilla Wohlers Tell in a press statement.
The victim is described as having belonged to the so-called leadership level within the network – a so-called A-actor – and is said to have had close connections to Eddie Jobe, who is alleged to have led the criminal network for a long time.
