A group of children and juveniles brutally attacked an adult man in Ústí nad Labem at the end of September. According to ustecky.denik.cz, the participants filmed the attack themselves and the video spread rapidly on social media. The recording captures slaps, punches and kicks. The conflict ended only when the victim's partner intervened directly between the attackers.
Police have now confirmed that they have identified all individuals involved in the incident. "We currently have identified all those involved in this case under investigation, but given the age of the persons concerned and the ongoing investigation, we will not provide further information about individual persons," said police spokeswoman Veronika Hyšplerová.
Two of the juveniles are already known to police from their previous activities. Investigators are also looking into whether the group may be responsible for further cases of violence. Police have not disclosed further details about the identity of those involved, given their age.
