A 33-year-old man was remanded in isolation on Wednesday for nearly a month. He was flown back to Denmark from a prison in Northern Ireland, where he has been held since autumn 2024. East Jutland police suspect him of having killed the 21-year-old Søren Koch in Aarhus in March 2022.

The accused has been charged with both committing the murder himself and with assisting others in doing so. During the court hearing, the 33-year-old chose to reserve the right to appeal the judge's decision to remand him in custody.
It remains unclear whether he admits guilt in the charges.
Another man, 31 years old, is already held in custody in the same criminal case.
