The National Police found the body of a man inside a refrigerator in the city of Castellón last Tuesday, according to ABC citing police sources close to the investigation.
The Provincial Police Station of Castellón assumed responsibility for investigating the incident immediately. The Provincial Judicial Police Brigade is directing the enquiries alongside officers from Scientific Police, who are participating in the analysis of the discovery.
As part of the investigation, the same sources indicate that another man has already been detained in connection with the facts. The enquiries are continuing in order to complete the corresponding police procedures.
The incident adds to a series of recent violent episodes in the Valencian Community, including the murder of a speech therapist in Valencia at the hands of the father of a two-year-old patient, and a brawl with fatal stabbing in an abandoned warehouse in Aldaya.
