After midnight, two young foreign nationals were beaten on Aiolou Street in Larissa, at a location near a park. The assailants were numerous and used wooden sticks and sharp implements.
The two victims reported the incident to the authorities. An ambulance from EKAB transported them to the General Hospital of the city, where they received medical care. Doctors confirmed that their lives were not in danger and their health was not a cause for concern.
The incident created tension in the surrounding area. Police officers from the Larissa Police Directorate for the Investigation and Prosecution of Crimes have undertaken the investigation to determine exactly what happened and to locate the perpetrators.
