In Cephalonia, police arrested a 41-year-old foreign national who is accused of breaking into a house in Argostoli and attacking the 26-year-old resident.
The incident occurred yesterday in the afternoon. The perpetrator allegedly entered the residence, stole 60 euros from the resident and subsequently injured him with a glass object.
The prosecuting authorities were immediately mobilised. Following an investigation in the area, they located and arrested the suspect. At the scene of the incident, the broken bottle was found and seized as evidence.
The arrested man was brought before the deputy prosecutor of the Misdemeanour Court of Cephalonia to give his statement.
