Police investigations at the house where a mother and son were found dead have revealed signs of interference in the premises. Traces that may have been cleaned are being examined.

The preliminary investigation into the murder of a 54-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son in Longo, Aigialeia, continues, with authorities focusing on new findings from the crime scene.
Police spokesman Konstantia Dimoglídou announced that officers have identified signs of interference inside the house. Two specialised teams from Athens, one from the Forensic Science Division and one from the Homicide Investigation Division, are operating in the area. Technicians conducted a detailed examination of the house using specialised equipment, locating small traces that may have been removed.
In parallel, officers from the Homicide Prosecution Division are taking supplementary statements from people who had already spoken to authorities and are reported to have knowledge of details about events before and after the double homicide, as well as about family relations.
Ms Dimoglídou emphasised that if the 65-year-old Italian partner of the woman is responsible, he would have had sufficient time available to alter the scene. For this reason, a thorough examination is being conducted to locate microscopic traces that are not visible to the naked eye.
The findings have been sent to forensic laboratories for further analysis.
