Three Pakistani men repeatedly beat a rubbish truck driver on the head in Nikaia, according to reports by Proto Thema. The driver himself described the attack, saying characteristically: "Three Pakistanis were beating me on the head."
The situation was prevented from becoming worse thanks to the chance presence of two police officers, who were passing through the location in their patrol car at the time of the attack and intervened immediately.
