With the agreement of an investigating magistrate and prosecutor, one of the 20 arrested individuals was ordered to remain in custody following the completion of testimonies, according to ERT. The remaining 19 were released on restrictive conditions, mostly with bans on attending sports events.

The case concerns an alleged criminal organisation that operated in the organised supporters sphere of a sports club in Thessaloniki. The case file includes a total of 51 persons and covers dozens of hooligan violence attacks, drug trafficking both within and outside sports facilities, as well as robbery with hooligan-related motives.

A 30-year-old man, believed to be the leader of the organisation, is being prosecuted and is currently abroad. Also included in the case file is a 23-year-old, already in pre-trial detention for the murder of 20-year-old Kleomenis last March in Kalamaria. He is expected to be called to testify regarding his alleged involvement in the organisation's activities during the course of the main investigation.

The defendant remanded in custody following the testimonies faces charges including drug possession and trafficking, illegal weapons possession and harbouring in connection with the violent incident in Kalamaria.
