Investigations are being conducted by local authorities to locate a young driver who evaded a police check and threw a blade from his vehicle.
According to tempo24, the 20-year-old was driving a car in the Romanou area. When police signalled him to stop, he accelerated and disappeared. During his flight, he threw a knife he was carrying from the window, which investigating officers found and collected.
Since then, authorities have been searching for the young man in the wider area.
