Electricity theft in Euosmos: 36-year-old arrested for meter tampering
A 36-year-old foreign national in Euosmos, Thessaloniki, has been arrested for electricity theft after an inspection by the Public Power Corporation revealed a tampered meter.

According to ERT, a 36-year-old foreign national in Euosmos, Thessaloniki, is alleged to have tampered with the electricity meter of the single-family home where he resides, with the result that consumed electrical energy was not being recorded normally.
The case was uncovered during an inspection conducted by technical employees of the Public Power Corporation. Yesterday morning, police officers from the Department of Crime Prevention and Suppression proceeded with the arrest of the 36-year-old.
A file was compiled against him for electricity theft.
