Three men, aged 34, 29 and 20, are being referred to the prosecutor following a serious incident they caused at Spata Health Centre, during which they attacked nursing staff and caused damage to detention cells.

A serious incident of violence occurred at Spata Health Centre on Tuesday evening. Three men, aged 34, 29 and 20, entered the facility at approximately 10 p.m. and attacked nursing care personnel.

The three had visited the health facility on a private matter. According to information released by the authorities, the situation escalated and the perpetrators attacked the staff members.

The prosecuting authorities were immediately notified. Police officers who arrived at the scene proceeded to arrest the three men, who are Roma. They were initially taken to a police station, where they continued their inappropriate behaviour and caused material damage to detention areas.

The file compiled against them includes charges of obstruction of a public service, insult, threats, violent behaviour towards employees, and destruction of public property.
