Arrest of gang leader who blew up ATMs across Greece
A leading member of a gang operating by detonating ATMs has been arrested by Greek authorities, according to Proto Thema. The group had obtained a total of over €440,000 from its attacks.
In the course of the investigation, nine ATM explosions were solved, along with three vehicle thefts, two thefts of licence plates and the theft of a motorway toll transponder. These offences are attributed to the same organised group.
