A resident of Agiassos was arrested in Mytilene after previously threatening a member of the bar association by telephone, whilst a search of his home revealed a hunting rifle held without authorisation.

On the island of Lesbos, police from the Agiassos division, reinforced by colleagues from Polichnítos, proceeded with the arrest of a man who resides permanently in the area. The case began when the citizen in question made a telephone call to the Courthouse of the city and made threats against a member of the bar association.
A search of the suspect's residence followed, in the presence of a representative of the judiciary. During the operation, the authorities located a hunting rifle which the arrested man had no right to possess.
The perpetrator was brought before the prosecutor's authorities, facing charges both for illegal weapons possession and for threatening a person practising as a lawyer.
