Robbery in Sułkowice: two young men charged
A brutal robbery occurred in Wadowice County. The incident took place on Saturday 6 June 2026, at approximately 22:00.
A group of assailants attacked two men. Pepper spray and physical violence were used in the attack. One of the victims lost consciousness, after which the perpetrators took his watch and key. The injured victim was taken to hospital.
Police officers from Andrychów quickly identified the perpetrators. As a result of operational activities, two young men were detained: a 19-year-old from Andrychów and an 18-year-old resident of the neighbouring municipality.
On 9 June 2026, both were brought before the prosecutor's office in Wadowice. They were charged with robbery there. The court imposed police supervision on them.
For this type of offence, the penal code provides for a sentence of 2 to 15 years' imprisonment. Investigators do not rule out further arrests in this case.
