The events occurred on Sunday afternoon, when a police patrol attempted to intercept a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, rather than stopping, accelerated and fled, triggering a pursuit that went through several neighbourhoods of the city.
During the chase, the fugitive committed multiple traffic violations, including crossing solid lines and failing to comply with stop signs. Officers from Málaga Local Police finally managed to intercept the vehicle and proceeded with the driver's arrest.
The arrested man was taken to police headquarters and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority. The proceedings were handled by Málaga Local Police Headquarters.
