Teenager arrested for coordinating looting in Barcelona via Blocus
Mossos police arrest 17-year-old adolescent accused of disseminating instructions and targets to coordinate thefts and disturbances in the Catalan capital.

Arrested for Blocus communication channels
Mossos d'Esquadra police detained a 17-year-old minor on Thursday evening in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, accused of participating in the organisation of the looting recorded in Barcelona the previous weekend. According to El Confidencial, the arrested person allegedly shared access to Blocus communication channels and actively participated in coordinating conversations.
The suspect provided instructions on necessary equipment, techniques for evading police controls and self-protection measures to participants, according to a statement from Catalan police released on Friday. He also incited others to take part in violent actions and proposed specific targets for the robberies.
Mossos indicated that instant messaging channels were used to organise acts of looting, public disorder and incitement to violence against officers. The investigation remains open and further arrests are not ruled out.
