According to ertnews.gr, police authorities arrested a 59-year-old Austrian national on Tuesday, 7 July in the Apokoronas area in Chania.
The man, a permanent resident of the wider area, was cultivating five cannabis seedlings in the yard of his residence. During an inspection, authorities located and uprooted the plants.
The arrested man is to be brought before the competent judicial authorities.
