Arrest in Agia Paraskevi, Lesbos for illegal possession of hunting rifle and threats
A permanent resident of Agia Paraskevi was arrested by police from the Agia Paraskevi Division with assistance from the Polychni Division, after he had previously telephoned the Court Building of Mytilene threatening a member of the bar association.

Police officers from the Agia Paraskevi Police Division, with assistance from colleagues from the Polychni Division, proceeded with the arrest of a permanent resident of the area. The arrested man had made a telephone call to the Court Building of Mytilene and had made threats against a member of the bar association.
During the subsequent search of his residence, in the presence of a judicial officer, authorities located and seized a hunting rifle which he was in possession of without the required licence.
The man was taken to the Public Prosecutor's office facing charges of violation of firearms legislation and threats.
