Police discover 67 kg of hashish in car in Turin, 31-year-old arrested
A 31-year-old Moroccan man has been arrested by Turin police with 67 kilogrammes of hashish hidden in a car parked in a garage on via Nino Bixio. A second man, aged 46, has been reported.

Major drug seizure in Piedmont's main city
According to rainews.it, the Dora Vanchiglia police station has dismantled a drug storage facility operating in an underground garage on via Nino Bixio in Turin. Officers, during a search, found 67 kilogrammes of hashish hidden in the boot and under the rear seats of a car parked in the structure.
The investigation had begun from monitoring the movements of a 31-year-old Moroccan citizen. Investigators had noticed him regularly visiting the garage, staying for brief moments next to the vehicle: the recurring behaviour led them to suspect that the car was being used as a hiding place for drugs. During a stakeout, officers followed the 31-year-old when he reached the vehicle together with a 46-year-old Moroccan companion, both having arrived in another car.
The search led to the seizure of 100 grammes of already packaged hashish, 225 euros in cash, car and house keys. In the second vehicle, stickers identical to those used to mark the drug packets were found. The 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply; the 46-year-old was reported and released pending investigation. Both vehicles were seized.
