In the investigation into the killing of a doctor in his own flat in March 2026, authorities have detained two further individuals suspected of complicity.

Judges in Bucharest have approved the deprivation of liberty for two more individuals involved in the murder of a medical professional committed in March of this year. The victim was found dead in his own flat in the capital.
The two suspects, a man and a woman, are suspected of having received and concealed valuable objects stolen from the doctor's residence. Investigators claim that the pair provided shelter to a mobile telephone, some watches and jewellery. Some of these items were sold abroad, and the rest were found in the homes of the two following searches.
Bucharest prosecutors are continuing investigations in this case, already holding in custody other suspects linked to the same crime.
